My Grandpa was a Swiss cheese maker in Wisconsin. He trained me to be a Swiss cheese gourmet. The more holes and a variety of sizes of holes is a sign of excellent Swiss cheese. I think that everybody’s life looks like Swiss cheese. Some people have more &/or bigger holes than others. Once we have a hole, no one outside ourselves can fill it up for us although we can receive assistance from people who know how to help. It’s a process, a journey, to fill in those holes. It takes work and commitment. As in taking a journey, going on an adventure, a guide is helpful, someone who has been on that journey before and has helped others along the path. There may be many, different paths that lead to wholeness, functioning and satisfaction with life, and all paths have similarities. Along this journey, accepting this adventure, you will learn things about yourself, things that you may not yet know, but have been part of you all along. These things are strengths. Finding your strengths, finding out about who you are will give you confidence to meet your current and future challenges with confidence.
